The Black Starlets beat Namibia’s U23 2-1 in an international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Striker Abass Issa scored all of the two goals for the Starlets in the first half before the visitors reduced the deficit.

It was the first defeat for Namibia’s U23 who have been preparing in the country since last week to prepare for the 2015 All Africa Games qualifiers.

They drew 1-1 with Ghana’s U20 on Sunday.

The Black Starlets are also preparing for their final African Junior Championship qualifier against Cameroon next month.
