The Ghanaian under 20 side arrive in Kampala in the wee hours of Wednesday morning ahead of the 2013 Africa Youth Championship first leg encounter against their Ugandan counterparts.

Uganda Hippos, as the under 20 are called, face the Black Satellites on Saturday at Nakivubo Stadium intent on securing a positive away result before the return leg in a fortnight’s time in Accra, Ghana.

Led by their coach Maxwell Konadu, the Ghanaians are expected to touch down at Entebbe International Airport at about around 1:15am on Wednesday aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

They are booked at Sojovaro Hotel in Mengo, a Kampala suburb.

Meanwhile, Uganda’s Vietnam-based midfielder Geoffrey Kizito Baba has been summoned by the local federation to join camp.

He is expected to fill in the void left by Yayo Lutimba, who was injured while on club duty with URA at the ongoing Cecafa Kagame Cup.

URA’s duo of striker Erisa Ssekisambu and defender Samuel Ssenkoomi are also to report to camp in Kavumba after being knocked out of the Cecafa Kagame Cup on Monday.

The winner of the two-legged tie will face either Morocco or Gambia in the final round qualifier in September and October. Algeria will host the games next year.
