Ghana have drawn South Africa, Cameroon, and Algeria in the most difficult Group for the 2014 African Women’s Championship later this year.

The Black Queens now face a herculean task of booking of the two qualification slots for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

South Africa’s Bayana Bayana were runners-up at the 2012 tournament but were beaten 1-0 by the Queens in May in a friendly.

Cameroon won bronze in Equatorial Guinea two years ago by edging Nigeria in the third/fourth playoff.

Group A, which contains the hosts Namibia, Zambia, Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire, looks fairy balanced.

Ghana secured a 4-0 aggregate win (1-0 away and 3-0 home ) over Senegal two months ago to qualify for this year’s finals.

The draw for the eight-team tournament was held in the Namibian capital Windhoek on Saturday evening.
