Ghana’s Under-20 female team will engage their Under-15 boys counterpart in a friendly at the Tema stadium on Thursday afternoon
The Black Princesses have been trimming the rough edges ahead of the first leg of the final qualifying round for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against Tunisia early next month.
Head coach Robert Sackey and his young ladies will battle their male opponent on the Tema astro turf as the game against their North African opponent will be played on a similar turf on May 4.
The return leg of the qualifying will take place on 20th May at the Accra Sport stadium.
The team reached this stage after dispatching South Africa 5-0 on aggregrate .
They made their World Cup debut in the Germany 2010 U-20 Women’s World Cup finals and are hoping to play in their second consecutive World Cup to be staged in Japan later in August.
