The Ghana U17 womenââ¬â¢s team are battling the cold in their USA training camp ahead of the World Cup later this month.
The Black Maidens are based in Alabama where they have been playing a series of friendly matches.
The young girls have however had to battle with the extreme weather condition in the USA.
Coach Evans Adoteyââ¬â¢s side had to play some of their warm up games in conditions less than five degrees Celsius.
The team have been limited to doing some of their training sessions in an indoor facility due to the extreme conditions but the teamââ¬â¢s management committee chairman Samuel Oduroà Nyarko insists preparations remain on course.
ââ¬ÅThe preparations have so far been very good with the only problem being the extreme weather condition here,â⬠he told Peace FM.
ââ¬ÅWe played one of our games under five degrees Celsius and in another game we played at about three degrees Celsius.
ââ¬ÅBut preparations have been good and we believe the girls are getting the best of preparations before the World Cup.ââ¬
The team will remain in the USA until the end of the week before moving to Costa Rica before the commencement of the World Cup on March 15.
