South Africa-based defender Kwabena Adusei wants to make the most of his maiden senior Black Stars call up for this month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Mpumalanga Black Ace centre-back has been named in Maxwell Konadu’s 23 man squad for the double header at the expense of regular John Boye who just recovered from the injury he picked up in the previous qualifying round.

The former Kotoko defender was on Ghana’s 2014 FIFA World Cup standby list after impressing at CHAN tournament in South Africa this January.

Adusei is determined to make his call up permanent.

“I thank God for the call up and I going to do my best to help my nation,” Edusei told MTNFootball.com

“The dream of every footballer is to play for his nation and I am confident that if I continue to work hard I will many of such opportunities.”
