Hassacas coach Yusif Bassigi has blamed referees for the sacking of coaches over their biased officiating in the First Capital Plus League.

Bassigi is fuming over the alleged poor performance of referee Solomon Mordey in Hasaacas’ 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The draw stalls the Sekondi-based club’s progress in the Premier League as they now lie mid-table with 14 points.

Coach Bassigi has however broadened the effect of poor officiating in the Ghanaian top flight as one of the reasons behind the sacking of coaches.

“Some coaches go into games with good strategy, but due to poor refereeing decisions, they end up on the losing side,” he said.

“Referees are the reasons for the sack of many coaches in the league.”
