Berekum Chelseaââ¬â¢s General Manager Francis Oduro Sarfo is saddened by the demotion of his former club King Faisal.
The ââ¬ËInsha Allahââ¬â¢ club were relegated from the Ghanaian top flight after being held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea on the final day of the season.
King Faisal now joined Ebusua Dwarfs and Amidaus Professionals as the relegated teams from the Ghana Premier League.
The three clubs will now be doing action in the dreaded Division One League when the next football season commences.
Berekum Chelseaââ¬â¢s general manager Oduro Sarfo is gutted his club were responsible for Faisalââ¬â¢s demotion. "I call it the devil and the deep blue sea because I had wished it had not come to this game," Sarfo told Power FM.
"Alhaji Grusah [King Faisal President] has been a father and King Faisal remains a part of me.
"But I didn't want to have a stigma for taking teams to relegation so we had to do our best to avoid it.
"But it is sad it had to be King Faisal."
