Berekum Chelsea winger Asante keen on Ghana league top award

Berekum Chelsea wing-wizard Solomon Asante has revealed his dreams to finish the season as best player of the Ghana league.

The 22-year-old pocket-size midfielder has claimed the man-of-the-match award twice in three league appearances for Chelsea.

He was rated the best player on the pitch in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Heart of Lions at the Golden City Park and also flourished against SC Medeama at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Despite the Blues suffering a 1-0 reverse at Medeama, the Black Stars winger's dexterous moves and artistry on the flanks earned him the man-of-the-match award.

The former ASFA Yennenga playmaker says he has fixed his sight firmly on claiming the most valuable player award of the season.

"I try to distinguish myself in every game I play because I want to finish the season as the best player of the season," he told Happy FM's Joe Debrah.
