Berekum Chelsea officials will spy on Mazembe
Berekum Chelsea will sent a three-man delegation to monitor TP Mazembe ahead of their CAF Champions League Group B match next week.
The scouting team will also assess facilities in Lubumbashi ahead of their July 22 encounter at the Frederick Kibasa Maliba Stadium.
”We will send a three-man scouting team to DR Congo as soon as possible to prepare the grounds very well before we travel,” the club’s International Relations Officer Joe Addo told Storm FM.
“We understand that TP Mazembe will play a league match on Friday and our men will be there to monitor the match.
“These things are not secret in modern football again because we have seen other clubs like Raja and Cotonsport send people to our camps to monitor us even weeks before matches.”
Berekum Chelsea are on top of Group B after a 3-2 over Zamalek in Accra while TP Mazembe lost 2-1 to Al Ahly.
