Berekum Chelsea table 80,000 Ghana Cedis bid for Daniel Nii Adjei-reports

Daniel Nii Adjei has been linked with a move to Berekum Chelsea

By Patrick Akoto

Berekum Chelsea have reportedly tabled a staggering 80,000 Ghana cedis bid for midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei.

The 23-year-old could move as a free agent after his contract with the Premier League Champions Asante Kotoko expired.

The two parties are deadlocked on negotiations after the player reportedly rejected a 30,000 Ghana cedis offer.

The exciting enforcer, who has also been linked with Hearts of Oak, is one of a number of players who are believed to be on Chelsea’s radar, and on Tuesday a number of local media houses reported that officials of the former Ghanaian champions could steal the march on Kotoko to tie up a deal for the highly-rated player.

Chelsea want to fortify their squad in an apparent move to reclaim the Premier League crown from the Porcupine Warriors.

They are in the group phase of the Caf Champions League and lie second in group A after recording a surprise 2-2 draw at TP Mazembe last Saturday.
