Berekum Chelsea striker Eric Bekoe is now six weeks away from making a full recovery from a career-threatening injury.

The 26-year-old suffered a broken leg in August – an injury which threatened to end his career.

Bekoe was expected to be out for an estimated six months after having a surgery to fix the problem.

The Ghana international is now delighted to be close to making a full recovery in six weeks time.

“I have I think one and a half more in my rehabilitation and it is good news,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am now working on building my muscles to ensure it is right when I decide to move into action.

“I have kept myself well, with my weight and all that so I believe I will be ready to move straight back to work when I am given the all clear.”
