Berekum Chelsea scored a last-gasp equalizer to draw 1-1 with Al Ahly Benghazi in the CAF Champions League on Sunday.

The home side were punished early on in the second half when Solomon Jabason, unmarked in the box headed past goalkeeper Iddrisu Ibrahim.

That goal silenced the partisan crowd at the Golden City Park in Berekum

Head coach Tony Lokko made changes and the Blues never gave up until the last minute when they drew parity.

Striker Obed Owusu headed in a free-kick from inside box in the 95th minute.

Berekum Chelsea face a tough task of advancing to the next stage as the Libyans will be counting on the away goal scored.
