Berekum Chelsea have a two-week ultimatum to pay former coach Johannes Van der Pluijm a whopping US$ 215,000 for “aggravated breaches” of his contract or face expulsion from the Ghana Premier League.

The breaches include outstanding salaries, monthly allowances and the coach’s share of the prize money Chelsea received from their participation in the 2012 CAF Champions League Group stage.

Van der Pluijm’s contract also entitled him to proceeds from the transfer of players during his tenure but that was violated.

The Dutchman, who is married to a Ghanaian, was first appointed as head coach in November 2011.

But the 65-year-old was later resigned as technical director but tendered in his resignation in June 2013.

This is another landmark ruling by the sub-committee of the Ghana Football Association after ordering Hearts to pay former coach David Duncan GHS 86,500 this January for his unlawful dismissal in November last year.
