Berekum Chelsea’s General Manager Oduro Sarfo insists the side is determined to win the FA Cup despite to atone for their wobbling form in the Premier League.

The Blues have not fared well in this season’s Premier League where they are currently involved in the relegation dogfight.

The side will be facing lowly UCC Youngsters at the Round of 32 stage of this season’s FA Cup.

Chelsea will also be soon commencing their campaign on their return to the CAF Champions League.

Many have questioned the strength of the Chelsea team to battle on all three fronts especially with their Premier League status in great threat.

But the general manager insists the side’s struggles in the Ghanaian top flight will not scare them away from winning this season’s FA Cup.

“The trophy [FA Cup] is up for grabs and we want to win it,” he told Metro FM.

“We are not in the competition to just make up the numbers; we are in to win it.

“We didn’t start too well in the Premier League and therefore people will be quick to write us off

“That will be a mistake because we are in to win it.”
