Berekum Chelsea duo Asante, Kissi-Boateng land in TP Mazembe for medicals

Posted On Monday, 17th December 2012

Berekum Chelsea have announced that winger Solomon Asante and defender Richard Kiss-Boateng have arrived in Lubumbashi to sign for TP Mazembe.

They left Accra on Sunday night for medicals at the four-time African champions.

Asante and Kissi-Boateng will sign for the DR Congo champions for the upcoming season and 2013 CAF Champions League.

They will join former teammate Gladson Awako who joined the club in September this year.

The two players will be unavailable for the club for their next league match against Asante Kotoko on 16 December at home.

The duo have been named in Ghana’s preliminary 26-man squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

TP Mazembe will now boast of four Ghanaian players with Asante Kotoko midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei signing for the Ravens last month.
