Berekum Chelsea coach not surprised by Dwarfs thrashing

Yusif Abubakar says he is not surprised by Berekum Chelsea’s 4-1 thumping at Ebusua Dwarfs.

Dwarfs marked their return to the Robert Mensah stadium with the resounding victory against the 2010 Ghanaian League champions.

Francis Attuquaye grabbed a brace while John Arthur and Asiwone Fumador got the other goals to propel Dwarfs to the heavy win in front of their home fans.

The defeat was the heaviest suffered by the Blues since they gained promotion to the top-flight four seasons ago and their trainer says he was not shocked with the defeat.

“We must understand that Dwarfs is not a small club. We’re disappointed with the results but it should not be blown out of proportion,” Abubakar said

“Even though we lost by that margin,  I don’t think we should take anything from Dwarfs.

“They deserved to win because they were hungrier. We just have to go back to the drawing board to correct the mistakes.”

The Blues will next host All Stars at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
