Berekum Chelsea's general manager Nana Oduro Sarfo believes his 'virtually new' side will peak next season to challenge for the Premier League title.
The Blues have struggled this term where they remain in the relegation dogfight.
Chelsea also crashed out early on their second appearance in the CAF Champions League.
But the Blues general manager believes the virtually new side have gained the needed experience to become a force again in next season's league.
"We didn't plan to win the league this season because we had virtually a new team," he said.
"And they have also got the added experience of playing in Africa.
"They are now playing well and I know from they way they are picking up, next season will be a different story all together."
Chelsea beat Hearts of Oak 1-0à on Wednesdayà to boost their survival bids.
