Hans Van der Pluijm says the club can cope without key players
Berekum Chelsea coach Hans Van der Pluijm has maintained that he is unfazed by the player exodus that has hit the club this season.
The 2012 CAF Champions League campaigners have lost sold six players to clubs on the continent.
Trio Gladson Awako, Richard Kissi-Boateng and Solomon Asante have been transferred to TP Mazembe.
Goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and Ibrahim Issaka also joined DR Congo and 2013 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Don Bosco.
But the club’s technical team is not pressing the panic
“As you know that there are about six to seven players gone but I think we have a good mix from the young and mature players for the second round,” Dutchman Pluijm said.
”I believe the second round you have to go all out but it will be competitive and we have to put in our effort to get our aim.”
Berekum Chelsea’s next Ghana Premier League match is against Amidaus Professionals at the Tema Park on March 2.
