Portuguese giants Benfica wants the immediate return of Ishmael Yartey from his loan spell with Servette.
The 22-year-old has impressed with the Swiss side this term culminating into his debut call to the national team, the Black Stars.
The Eagles have however ordered the return of the former national U-17 star amidst offers from big European clubs including Marseille, Lille, Malaga and Feyenoord.
It is unlikely Benfica will be looking to cash-in on Yartey as he is needed for next season’s Champions League campaign.
Good news for my boy Ishmael Yartey. Don’t disappoint your team this time round.
I’m really really excited for my talisman. He has always been my dream player for Ghana. Do not disappoint us at all.
You must know that this is what gives you your daily bread and for that matter do not relax at all as the opportunities are in now. GOOD LUCK.
One of best decision of Akwasi Appiah.
Yartey will display his quality to the Ghanaian populace. He is a great and quality player, it is time for him to fly higher.
I’m very excited for this swessconian, right back @ school, he delivers when all hope is lost.
Wow what a challenge
Wow our National Team is getting better players. First in 2006, Gyan, Appiah, Essien, n Muntari came to lime light n some are still shinning. In 2008, Kwadwo, Ayew, Quincy sprung from nowhere to strengthen our team. In 2010, KP Boateng, Babu, Inkoom n Vorsah became the new force. Now in 2012, Yartey, Atsu, Waris n Jordan r our new kids on the block to add up to our experienced, xceptionally Gifted players. We will be a force in the 2014 world cup.
Who knows
Thank God! Don’t disapoint Ghanaians!
