In-form Bechem United midfielder Augustine Okrah has been linked with a sensational return to Asante Kotoko.
The youngster left the Ghanaian champions two years ago after failing to hold down position in the team.
He was farmed out on loan to Liberty Professionals but was restricted by injuries.
But the 20-year-old has been in devastating form for Bechem United this season where has netted nine times.
He has become an important piece for the Bechem-based side, which has prompted Kotoko to attempt an audacious bid to bring him back to Kumasi, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
Kotoko officials have been hugely impressed by Okrahââ¬â¢s influence in the top-flight this term and will table an offer for his services at the end of the season.
It would mean the Porcupine Warriors having to bite the bullet if they firm up their interest in a youngster, who became disillusioned because of a lack of first-team opportunities at the Baba Yara stadium.
He made a handful of Premier League appearances before he joined United as a free agent.
