Bechem United’s in-form midfielder Noah Martey has attributed his surge in form to a recent Ghana U20 call-up.

Martey has scored in the last three matches of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The 20-year-old scored a trademark long-range goal to earn Bechem United a vital 1-0 home win over Liberty Professionals on Wednesday.

“Though I played very well in the first round of the league and received positive reviews, I never scored a goal. That changed when coach Sellas Tetteh gave me opportunity to be part of the Black Satellites,’’ Noah told GHANASoccernet.com

“He (Sellas) made me feel special and loved so naturally grew in confidence. The greatest honour for any player is the opportunity to play for country.’’

Martey has three goals to his credit and five assists as Bechem United lie third on the league table.
