Bechem United goal hero, Patrick Cole, was delighted with his match-winner in their 1-0 win over Kotoko on Sunday.
The former Berekum Arsenal striker headed home the winner on the 40th minute mark to end Kotoko’s unbeaten run in the top-tier.
“It should have been more comfortable, but we got the result and that’s all that matters,” Cole said
“We got the points and that’s all that goes on the table. It’s what we needed and we’ve done it.
“It’s hard when you’re playing a game of 90 minutes – the other team are going to have spells and it’s about how you deal with them. I thought we dealt with it quite well.
“At this stage of the season, and with teams around us doing well and so forth, it was an important result.”
United have moved into the top-four and will next travel to Tema to face Inter Allies on Wednesday.
