Bechem United Chief Executive Kingsley Osei Bonsu expects the club to compete for the Ghana Premier League with their entertaining brand of football.

The veteran football administrator says the returnees are playing with zeal and creativity.

Bechem United hogged the headlines on Wednesday when they recorded a shock 2-1 win at Aduana Stars.

That feat was preceded by a 1-0 home win against Ebusua Dwarfs last Sunday.

Bonsu, a former Ghana FA Executive Committee member, applauded the tactical and technical abilities of coach Milisav Bogdanovic and his assistants for the ‘above-expectation’ start to the season.

"Bogdanovic is a UEFA License A coach with 40 plus years of experience so his experience is working,'' Bonsu told GHANASoccernet.com

"He is grooming our young players for sale and teaching our experienced players quality football. We are all blown away by the quality of his work."

"We maintained some of the players that qualified us to the top-flight and people thought we were crazy.

"Then we recruited inexpensive young talents to aid our talent-export model and people said we were not serious.

"In the midst of the criticism, we I felt ok because we knew the quality in camp was good enough to compete for a top-4 place."

Bechem United face Hearts of Oak on Saturday.

"We have a strong squad and bad luck was the only reason why we didn't beat Amidaus and Medeama,” Bonsu added.

''We have the quality to beat any club in the league so Hearts will be defeated.''
