Bashir Hayford has signed a three-year contract with Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club with the task of forming an unbeatable squad for the next soccer season. The former coach of defunct Kessben FC sealed the deal on Wednesday with the Tarkwa-based club.

Medeama secured Premier League football rights by taking over Kessben FC in a reported US$ 600,000 dollar deal.

Hayford won the 2007/2008 league title with giants Asante Kotoko but was dismissed the following season.

He has also coached Power FC and Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
