Medeama trainer Bashir Hayford is confident his side can maintain the momentum in the Ghana Premier League.

The Mauves and Yellows have jumped to the summit of the table after picking maximum points from two games.

The Tarkwa-based side now face a tough away trip to All Stars on Sunday and their trainer is confident they can keep the momentum.

“I believe we are on the right track and we’ll hope for the best against All Stars on Sunday,” Hayford said

“We are not getting complacent because the game at Wa will be very difficult.

“We have started well and hope to continue from there.

"I will admits that the road to the title has just started and so we envisage more difficult games.

"But we have what it takes to weather the storm and keep our focus."
