Ahmed Barusso wants to help Novara secure promotion to Seria A

Ghana midfielder Ahmed Barusso wants to help Novara secure promotion to the Italian top-flight next season.

The 28-year-old, on loan at Seria B side Novara has struggled to be actively involved this season due to a niggling knee injury.

The former Galatassary and Roma combative midfielder says he is eager to play a part in Novara’s quest to gain promotion to the top-flight of Italian football.

“It’s the dream of every player to play in the Seria A and so we’re working hard to ensure we gain promotion,” Barusso said

“The latest injury situation has not really helped matters but I am confident we can continue to work hard and achieve the ultimate.

“Our position currently makes it difficult but not impossible to start getting the required results.

Novara are currently 10^th on the Seria B table with 34 points, a staggering 27 points adrift of leaders Sassuolo.
