Barcelona convinced landing Arsenal's Song in next 48hrs

Barcelona

are pushing to close a deal for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song before the weekend.

Sport says Barca fancy landing the Cameroon international in the next 48 hours.

It’s claimed all parties want the deal to happen – with Arsenal willing to sell for £17 million, while Barca have so far offered £12 million.

Barca sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta has been assured that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger won’t block the deal so long as they are realistic about Song’s price.
