Banahene bags brace in Kar??yaka comprehensive reverse

Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Banahene registered a brace for Kar??yaka when they suffered a 3-2 comprehensive defeat at 1461 Trabzon in the Turkish second division on Saturday.

The Orduspor loanee opened the scoring for the visitors in the 50th minute after a pulsating stalemate of first-half football.

Yusuf Erdogan equalised and put the host ahead within ten minutes after Banahene’s opener.

But the 24-year-old former Berekum Chelsea forward levelled the matters for the Izmir-based side 17 minutes from time but Yusuf Erdogan claimed the maximum points for his side on the 83rd minute mark.

Former Hearts of Oak whizkid Torric Jebrin who is on loan from Trabzonspor lasted 89 minutes for 1461 Trabzon.

Saturday’s brace has taken Banahene’s season tally to ten in the Lig. 1 this season.
