Mario Balotelli marked his wonder goal in the 1-0 victory over Bologna last night with a special dedication.
The AC Milan forward struck a dipping shot from almost 43 metres after seeing the keeper off his line, to seal a vital win that saw the Rossoneri move to within 4 points of a Europa League Spot.
Speaking on Mediaset Premium, the Italian international spoke of his pride with the goal and the win and even had some words on coacc Clarence Seedorf.
“To score a goal like that shows the effort of training, I practice shots like this with my teamates all the time,” the striker stated.
“Then there is the talent God has given me, but I am still training. This win gives us a little confidence, but Wednesday [against Atletico Madrid] will be a different game.”
When asked about his relationship with Seedorf.
“We have a nice relationship because he says things to your face, I like that,” the Italian commented.
SuperMario then finished with a special message: “I dedicate the goal and victory to my girlfriend Fanny, since it is Valentine’s Day”.
