Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman has intensified his training as he gets set to rejoin his side Greuther Furth.

The left-back began bicycle training on Tuesday and had some drills with the club's physical trainer.

Rahman was given a two-week rest by coach Frank Kramer after playing in the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.

He took advantage of his inactivity to undergo surgery on his problematic tooth.

The former Asante Kotoko player will be fit and ready for action next week.

Rahman has missed the opening two weeks in Bundesliga II but Greuther Furth are on top with 100 percent winning record.

The 19-year-old should be ready for Ghana's final 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia at home on 6 September.
