Abdul Baba Rahman is not in a hurry to leave Augsburg

Ghana defender Baba Rahman says he’s not in a rush to leave Augsburg following mounting speculations surrounding his future.

The 20-year-old is at centre of intense media conjecture over the last couple of weeks after impressive displays for the German Bundesliga outfit.

The former Greuther Furth left-back has been linked with a number of stellar clubs including European powerhouse Bayern Munich who are believed to have  enquired about his availability.

The Bavarians are ready to test the resolve of Augsburg by tabling a mouth-watering offer for his service in January.

But the ex-Kotoko defender says he’s not in a hurry to leave just yet and determined to help Augsburg to the top of German football.

“It is still early in the season for a decision to be taken but all I have to say is I want to better myself to be a great player,” Rahman is quoted by Goal Ghana.

“I want to help Augsburg to get to the top and also achieve laurels.”

Rahman is becoming a consistent performer for the Black Stars after playing in the qualifying campaign for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
