Baba Rahman: Black Stars boy sets up a goal for Augsburg in Bundesliga reverse
Baba Rahman set up a goal for Augsburg

Ghana international defender Baba Rahman climbed off the bench to assist the consolation goal for Augsburg who slipped to a 2-1 loss at Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.

Augsburg were losing 2-0 at Mainz after the host scored twice in the first-half but Baba stepped out of the dug-out to give them some hope when he set up a goal Tobias Werner to halve the deficit.

The 21-year-old dropped to the bench due to his late arrival but when he was brought on in the Canadian international Marcel di Jong in the  56th minute, he made impact.

With an assist similar to his work during Ghana's mid-week triumph over Guinea in the 2015 AFCON, the former Asante Kotoko full-back employed his pace to lay a visionary pass to Werner who firmly nailed the ball home for the consolation goal.
