Ghana international defender Baba Rahman climbed off the bench to assist the consolation goal for Augsburg who slipped to a 2-1 loss at Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.
Augsburg were losing 2-0 at Mainz after the host scored twice in the first-half but Baba stepped out of the dug-out to give them some hope when he set up a goal Tobias Werner to halve the deficit.
The 21-year-old dropped to the bench due to his late arrival but when he was brought on in the Canadian international Marcel di Jong in the à 56th minute, he made impact.
With an assist similar to his work during Ghana's mid-week triumph over Guinea in the 2015 AFCON, the former Asante Kotoko full-back employed his pace to lay a visionary pass to Werner who firmly nailed the ball home for the consolation goal.
