Ghana international defender Baba Abdul Rahman has expressed delight at his recent form for Ghana in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers and has vowed to hold down his place in the Black Stars.

The 21-year-old is still earning raving reviews for his performance for the Black Stars in the 3-1 win over Guinea at the Tamale Sports Stadium last week.

Baba admits he is  happy over his performance for Ghana but insists he is keen to hold down a regular spot in the Black Stars.

"It is really great playing for your nation and I am always happy whenever I am invited," he told Radio Gold.

I hope I maintain my form so I can have more achievements with the team," he added.

Baba, a member of Ghana's U20 squad at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey, has not had his form limited to dazzling for Ghana but also shinning in the German top-flight.

After setting up Badu for Ghana's third goal last Wednesday, he highlighted his quality once more when he set up a goal for Augsburg in their 2-1 loss against Mainz o5 on Sunday.
