Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman’s reported move to Bundesliga side Augsburg is on the verge of collapse due to his high price tag.

Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth are demanding three million euros for the services of the talented left-back.

Furth are not under pressure to sell the player whose contract runs until 2017.

"Although Baba continues to be very excited about playing in the Bundesliga, I do not think that Baba will go to the FCA," Greuther Furth President Helmut Hack said.

Baba made 22 appearances for Furth last season as they missed out on qualification to the top-flight in the playoffs.
