Roy Arthur has been appointed Chief Executive of BA Stars
Former Ghana Premier League side BA Stars have appointed Roy Arthur as the club’s Chief Executive.
Arthur becomes the youngest Chief Executive in the Division One League by agreeing a two-year deal.
Until his appointment he was the International Liaison Officer for Atlas Sports Management.
He is well connected in the football circles and has worked with some influential player agents and club presidents in Italy, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia and Turkey.
In 2007, he helped organized a training tour for Bechem United which resulted in the sale of Daniel Kofi Agyei and Quincy Osei.
Arthur organised and led a combined team of Bechem and DC United to Romeo and Juliet tournament in Montecchio, Vicenza where we won the cup.
This resulted in the transfers of Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom (Sassuolo), Salifu Amidu (Catania) and goalkeeper Karim Mumuni.
His elder brother Oliver is a renowned FIFA Player’s agent who is based in Ghana.
BA Stars played in the 2010 /2011 season but were relegated on their first attempt.
