Brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew have been named in the ten-man shortlist of nominees for the prestigious Marc-Vivien Foé prize.

Jordan, who strikes for struggling side Lorient, has been nominated for the first time in his career after netting nine goals in 25 matches.

His elder brother has earned his second nomination since 2012 after scoring seven goals in 22 appearances this term.

The duo face stiff competition from Lille and Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Nabil Dirar (Monaco, Morocco), Max-Alain Gradel (Saint-Etienne, Ivory Coast), Idrissa Gueye (Lille, Senegal) and Aissa Mandi (Reims, Algeria).

Other winners of the award included; Marouane Chamakh (2009), Gervinho (2010, 2011), Younès Belhanda (2012) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2013)
