Yahaya Mohammed has been tipped to remain at Kotoko

Asante Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed is confident Yahaya Mohammed will remain at the club next season.
The future of the impressive lanky midfielder has been hugely speculated in the local media after Hearts slapped in an official bid for his services.
The ex-OGC Nice player enjoyed a limited playing time last season due to a niggling knee injury.
Reports are emerging the 24-year-old could seek a move away from the club but the Maritzburg United-bound player insists the former Tema Youth man will keep faith with the Premier League Champions.
“Yahaya is not going to leave Kotoko. He would only leave when he get a team abroad.i can assre you that he is not leaving Kotoko,” Mohammed told Kumasi-based Fox FM
“The Kotoko team is on his heart. I talk to him everyday. He is my close pal and everybody knows that and nothing shows that he will leave Kotoko,”
“He will not disappoint Kotoko. The fans should be re-assured that he will not quit the club in anyway. The supporters love him very much,”
“If he doesn’t travel, he will remain at Kotoko. Yahaya will be there for Kotoko while Kotoko will also be there for him.”
The guy is also very good in central defence!
