Augustine Okrah wins man of the match in Al Merreikh's league win.

Ghana's Augustine Okrah was once again the star man for Al-Merreikh as the leaders beat Merik Kosti 1-0 in a Saturday Sudanese Premier League fixture.

Okrah was officially nominated by match officials as man-of-the-match after he excelled again in the number 10 position in the match which was played in the city of Kosti, South of the capital Khartoum.

Next up for the 21-year old and his Al Merreikh teammates is Kwesi Appiah's Al Ahli Khartoum on Wednesday.

The former Ghana coach will looking forward to reverting the slow start to the season which has left his team in the relegation zone whilst Okrah will aim to score his debut league goal.

Okrah has been in devastating form since recovering from a groin injury that kept him away for five months.

He was officially the best player in Merreikh's pre-season games.
