Congratulations to the coach on a good line up. It takes guts to bench Derek Boateng and for that I know the coach means business. I am sorry my man Waris did not make the squad.

  6. afrikaba1 says:

Nice starting eleven. in the second half if we need more fluidity in the midfield then Derek Boateng can come in. He did well as a sub against England. I dont think he does well when he starts.Good luck

  8. ernesto says:

    • jb says:

you do not have to be offended if it is my opinion that ghana will lose…i think ghana soccer is in a state of crisis because of corruption and mismanagement despite the great endowment with natural talent…

      • final whistle says:

What crisis are you talking about. which African country has been so consistent with its performance since 2006? Splendid performance in the two worldcups let alone to talk about AFCON appearnces. You can HATE BS but be objective to urself for once.

  12. kantoose says:

    Anybody has a link please?

  18. anokwale says:

I like the 4-4-2 formation. I am not sure if Jordan should be the other forward. I guess the coach wants experience. I would have liked to see Clottey and Gyan together to see what they can do. Or Boakye-Yiadom and Gyan together. I sort of think Derek is important though. I would have started him instead of Annan. Anyway, we will see in a few hours.

  19. alonzy says:

nyce lyn up malawi in trouble today osayyyyyyyyyy blakstar!!!!!

    …………………….ANNAN………………………..

    ………….ATSU……………….ASAMOAH…………..

    DEDE…………………………………………JORDAN

    …………………….GYAN………………………..

a typical 4 3 3 with two creative midfielders atsu and asamoah. with the ayews on the flanks. superb attacking formantion. thumbs up!!!!! akwesi appiah!!!

    • Experience Coach says:

My only problem is not starting with Derek. Derek is a midfielder who controls a game better than Annan.

Derek Boateng must replace Annan so that goals can come in quickly.

      • final whistle says:

How many Black Star games has he started? Sometimes its not about starting but he is experience so with him coming from the bench, I think makes him dangerous. We need someone to study the game from bench and comes on as supersub if the going gets tougher

  21. Al says:

great lineup…great choice to drop boateng looks like he is going to deploy a variation of the 442…maybe the 4-1-3-2

  22. Dr Who says:

This is the best starting IX Coach Appiah has paraded since he took over.its an attacking minded team with Atsu,Dede & K Asamoah being the creative force in midfield with Jordan & Gyan on top.its 4-4-2 which can be varied

  23. Ghost Of Sparta says:

Guys, does anyone have a link to the match? Am gonna keep looking till i get one and i will post it here as well.

    Greetings,
    Al

  24. gas ucc says:

we live 2 see what the so-Opare will do!

  25. Holo says:

Kwesi Appiah is waking up finally. BEST LINEUP WE HAVE UTILIZED IN A LONG TIME! No Derek Boateng :) Lots of attacking and flair in this team. Kwadwo Asamoah operating from slightly deeper in the center of midfield is good as well. We will definitely see good results today.

  26. Abs says:

Once Inkoom is nt in e startin line up, datz kuul

  27. Union Leader says:

Oh brother! What are all these attack minded players doing on the field? Akwasi Appiah have zero,(and I repeat, zero) tecnical ability. All the same, good luck to the Black Stars!
