Midfielder Asiedu Attobrah has hailed his 'impressive' showing for the Ghana U20 in the all-conquering 4-1 trouncing of Gabon to secure a ticket to next year's African Youth Championship in Senegal.

The New Edubiase United playmaker opened the scoring for Sellas Tetteh's boys with a fabulous finish in the 12th minute in Libreville before Yaw Yeboah, Samuel Afful and Prosper Kassim added the other goals.

"I'm glad I've done it again for the side. I rose up to the occasion when Maxwell Konadu needed me and today I have done it again when I was needed most," he told Happy FM's Joe Debrah.

Ghana went into the game with the Gabonese considered as favourites to sail through after frustrating the 2009 champions at the Accra Sports Stadium a fortnight ago.

But the Black Satellites confirmed their status as a powerhouse on the continent by stunning the home side and their fans to claim an impressive win.
