Asiedu Atobrah claims he nearly signed for Turkish giants Fenerbahce
Ghana midfielder Asiedu Atobrah claims he nearly signed for Turkish giants Fenerbahce after excelling in the 2014 CHAN tournament.
The New Edubiase playmaker put up a decent performance during the three-week tournament for the country’s home-based stars.
Atobrah has claimed a number of European offers have poured in for him while revealing he he came close to signing for Fenerbahce.
“I have gotten a lot of offers and I even nearly signed for Fenerbahce but I hope to get the best club from Europe,” he said.
“My performance in this tournament will help my football career and i hope to get a team in Europe. ”
Atobrah was heavily linked with a move to Kotoko and Hearts but opted to stay with the Bekwai-based side.
Officials of the club have insisted he will only be sold to a foreign club.
