AshGold winger Joseph Ato-Bissah says the Miners are elated over the GHALCA Top4 Tournament success after they were declared champions with Hearts of Oak's late withdrawal.

The Miners emerged winners after Hearts of Oak decided to discontinue their participation over a venue issues.

AshGold posted a 2-1 win over New Edubiase United in the coronation game at the Len Clay Stadium to grace their off-season triumph.

"We feel very elated to lift the trophy because since 1996 Ashgold hasn't won any major cup io the local scene, so we were very happy to lift the trophy," the former Atletico Madrid B player said.

Ato-Bissah says his side have now shifted their focus towards winning the 2014/15 league.

"Our next target is the 2014/15 league trophy so the other clubs must watch out for Ashgold," he added.
