Ghana’s CAF confederations Cup reps New Edubiase suffered a 4-1 defeat in their final warm-up game at the Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday ahead of their tie with Congolese side Diable Noirs.
Young striker Sulley Musah opened the scoring for the Miners with a clinical finish before defender Michael Ofosu Appiah doubled their lead.
However Stephen Manu havled the deficit for Anthony Commey’s side before the break.
The Miners returned from the break to score two more goals to put the tie to bed.
Ivorian midfielder Didier Kore scored a quicksilver brace to seal the win for Bashir Hayford’s side.
Edubiase used the game as their final preparatory for their debut Caf Confederations Cup on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
