Emmanuel Baffour’s move to AshGold to be made official this month

AshantiGold plan to make striker Emmanuel Baffour their only signing during the second transfer period.

The 24-year-old is back in Ghana haven failed to make the grade at South African club Mamelodi Sundowns.

Baffour who emerged the top scorer in last season’s Ghanaian top flight will sign for the Miners at the opening of the second transfer window this month.

AshGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo says Baffour will be the only addition to the already formidable side during this transfer period.

“For now we only plan to make just one signing in this window, that is Emmanuel Baffour,” he told Asempa FM.

“That is the only planned transfer activity for now. He [Baffour] has completed his medicals and training well.

“We will work on his transfer on our return from Tema.”
