GHALCA pecked back by AshGold over G8 cash

AshantiGold have slashed off GHALCA’s share of transfer proceeds realized from the sale of Fatau Dauda and Yakubu Mohammed.

This was done to redeem AshGold’s debt for participating in the inaugural GHALCA G8 over a year ago according to Metro941.com.

GHALCA have been unable to pay clubs for participating in the tournament which was won by Berekum Chelsea.

AshGold is owed about $20,000 for their participation in the tournament hosted by telecommunication giants Globacom.

The club have however redeemed the owed amount by taking it from GHALCA’s percentage of the transfer proceeds realized from the sale of Fatau Dauda and Yakubu Mohammed to Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United respectively.
