AshantiGold defender Joshua Tijani is looking forward to ending Asante Kotoko’s winning streak in pre-season on Sunday afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Miners recorded a double over the Porcupine Warriors in September in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament.

Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani’s side are desperate to avert similar fate but Tijani says the defending Ghana Premier League champions will be beaten again.

“We are taking this game against Kotoko as just the other friendlies we have had already,” the 2014 CHAN star said.

“We beat them the last time out and we will continue to do the things that made us achieve that result.

“Everybody knows that Kotoko is a good team but we are concentrating on our strength.”

Kotoko will be playing their 26th pre-season friendly and have won 15; drawn 7 and lost only two (to AshantiGold).
