Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have confirmed the arrival of Emmanuel Baffour's International Transfer Certificate from South Africa.

The Miners completed the signing of the 2012 Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe winner but were unable to use him in the Ghanaian top-flight due to documentation.

However, club CEO Kudjoe Fianoo confirmed on Tuesday evening that his side have finally received the document which be clear the player to play for the Obuas-based side in the second round of the league.

"I just got the message from Accra that Baffour's ITC is in which will make him eligible for play for us now," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

The former New Edubiase United striker joins from Absa Premier League side Mamelodi Sundowns where he failed to secure regular playing time after signing for them three seasons ago.
