AshantiGold lick Amidaus for season's first win

AshantiGold fought back to beat debutants Amidaus Professionals 3-1 to record their first win of the season.

Captain Yahaya Mohammed drew first blood for the visitors in the 20th minute but striker Louis Agyemang levelled the scoring for the home side 11 minutes later.

AshGold established their dominance in the game, piling immense pressure on Amidaus.

Ivorian import Didier Kore registered the second goal for Yaw Acheampong's side five minutes before the break.

Amidaus occasionally came into the game and had few chances to pull even but Ghana keeper Fatau Dauda proved a stumbling block.

Former Ghana U17 playmaker Aaron Amoah ended Amidaus hopes of a comeback by sealing the win for the Miners six minutes from time.
