Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu 11 will host the Black Stars on Thursday

The Ashanti King Otumfuor Osei Tutu 11 will host players of the Black Stars on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his men will visit the Manhyia Palace this afternoon.

The world respected Royal Majesty is expected to offer his unflinching support to the team and motivate them ahead of the crunch game at the Baba Yara stadium.

The Asantehene, the number supporter of the Black Stars in the Ashanti Region  always visit the team anytime they play in Kumasi and the players have therefore decided to pay homage to the highly-respected king at his palace.

The Black Stars held their first training session at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Park on Wednesday afternoon as thousands flocked the venue to catch a glimpse of their stars.

The Ghanaians must beat the Nile crocodile to revive their hopes of qualifying to the play-offs.
